How are you gonna enforce the rules if you can’t follow them yourself?

Cops will tell you that adequately performing their job sometimes involves breaking the rules a bit. They’re lying, of course, but because every cop in this country thinks they’re the Punisher, we’re stuck in a world where police officers genuinely believe they’re above the law (and are only very rarely put in their place about it).

Turns out, this feeling of cop superiority isn’t unique to the U.S. Over in China, a motorcyclist spotted a cop texting while driving without a seatbelt. And so, he pulled him over and flipped his lid on him.
